About Settled Ground, Inc.

An Indiana 501(c)(3) institution operating a structured Capacity-Building Program for under-resourced mission-driven organizations. Governed by The Foundational Architecture Framework™.

Mission.

To install the operational, financial, and institutional foundations under-resourced mission-driven organizations require, so that their missions outlast any single leader and reach the communities they serve.

Theory of change.

Mission-driven organizations rarely fail for lack of mission. They fail when the structure beneath the mission cannot sustain it. The Foundational Architecture Framework installs that structure through three sequenced phases — Diagnostic, Architecture, Installation — supported by peer learning and measured against published outcomes. Participants who complete the program produce documented short-term outcomes that translate into long-term institutional sustainability.

PROBLEM

Under-resourced organizations carry real missions on insufficient structural foundations. Funding concentration, governance thinness, and founder dependency limit institutional lifespan.

INTERVENTION

The Foundational Architecture Framework, delivered through a structured cohort program. Diagnostic, Architecture, and Installation, sequenced over thirty-six months.

OUTCOMES

Documented organizational change against published baselines. Mission durability beyond a single leader.

Founder.

Anthony Fant

Anthony Fant is the founder of Settled Ground, Inc. and the architect of The Foundational Architecture Framework™—a system for building organizations that are structurally sound, operationally credible, and fundable at scale.

Over a 30-year career in nonprofit infrastructure and revenue architecture, he has led complex development and funding systems, including the organizational infrastructure behind 67 nonprofit housing properties.

He is the creator of multiple proprietary systems, including The Nonprofit Growth System™, The Funding Intelligence System™, and The Nonprofit Capacity Engine™—all designed to help organizations move from concept to institutional credibility.

His work is grounded in a single principle: funding follows structure. That insight, reinforced through decades of applied work and shaped in part by his engagement with large-scale faith-based institutions including The Potter’s House of Dallas under Bishop T.D. Jakes, forms the foundation of his approach to organizational architecture.
