The Capacity-Building Program.
A structured, application-based program with three concurrent tracks. Selected participants complete the program over thirty-six months. Governed by The Foundational Architecture Framework™. Approximately seventy percent of program cost is subsidized through grants and donations; the participant contributes the remainder, calibrated to organizational capacity.

Structure.
The program runs in cohorts. Each cohort admits no more than fifteen organizations across the three tracks. Cohorts mix tracks deliberately. Peer learning across organizational categories strengthens outcomes.
What participants build.
Participation produces a defined set of institutional artifacts. The participant authors the work; program staff govern the development sequence under the Framework.
- An organizational diagnostic completed at onboarding, capturing strengths, gaps, and risks across operations, governance, finance, and program.
- A Vision Blueprint covering mission, programs, funding architecture, governance, communications, and execution roadmap. The participant authors it under structured sequence. It becomes the institution's case-for-support document.
- An Execution Roadmap built by the participant for the program year, with deliverables, decision points, and accountability checkpoints.
- Guided implementation across the institution-building work the Framework prescribes: governance documents, communications materials, financial readiness, operational systems, and the funder pipeline. Work product is participant-authored.
- A Funding Game Plan and verified funder research. Two to four grant applications are submitted by the participant during the program year.
- Cohort sessions across the three tracks, governed by published cohort norms and confidentiality protections.
- A Program Completion Standard that defines completion structurally: participant-authored artifacts produced and demonstrated organizational change against onboarding baselines.
Length by track.
| Track | Annual budget tier | Program length |
|---|---|---|
| Foundational | Under $250K | 36 months |
| Builder | $250K – $5M | 36 months |
| Institution | $5M+ | 36 months |
Track placement is set during application review on organizational budget and readiness.
Cohort size.
No more than fifteen organizations per cohort. The depth of work the Framework governs requires it.
Cost-share contribution.
Contribution is calibrated to organizational capacity. The institution covers the majority of program cost through grants and donations. The participant contributes a share that reflects institutional commitment without exceeding what the operating budget sustains. Ranges are published on Apply. Foundational Pathway subsidization is available for organizations with annual budgets under $50,000.
Monthly participant contribution
$475 – $950/month
Total over 36 months: $17,100 – $34,200
