Withdrawal and Refund Policy.

Terms under which participants withdraw and the corresponding refund of cost-share contributed.

Participant-initiated withdrawal.

  • Within fourteen days of program start — full refund of cost-share contributed.

  • Day fifteen through program midpoint — fifty percent refund of cost-share contributed.

  • After program midpoint — no refund. The participant retains all institutional artifacts authored to that point.

Settled Ground, Inc.-initiated discontinuation.

Where program staff and participant agree in good faith that the program is not the right fit, enrollment is discontinued and full refund of unused cost-share is provided regardless of timing. Discontinuation is initiated through a documented review process. No participant is removed without documented cause and review.

Force majeure.

If program delivery is interrupted by circumstances outside Settled Ground, Inc.'s control, the institution works with participants to extend the program timeline or arrange equitable refund.

Process.

Withdrawal requests are submitted in writing to participants@settledground.org. Refund processing is initiated within fourteen days. Refunds are issued by check or ACH per participant preference.
